Mintier Inc. ("Mintier", "we", "us", or "our") establishes this Privacy Policy regarding information handled through QSenda and the QSenda website (collectively, the "Service").
1. About QSenda
QSenda transfers files between devices using QR codes.
The contents of files being transferred, transfer data encoded in QR codes, and camera images used to read QR codes are generally processed locally on the user's devices.
QSenda does not transfer files through Mintier's servers, and Mintier does not receive or store the contents of files transferred through QSenda.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
QSenda may store information locally on your device to provide its functions, including:
- names of files sent or received;
- file types;
- file sizes;
- date and time of transfers;
- transfer duration;
- frame counts and other technical transfer information; and
- temporary copies of received files.
This information is used for local functions such as transfer history, file access and saving. Users can delete transfer history from QSenda.
When a received file is saved using a function such as "Save As", it is stored in a location selected by the user on the device. QSenda does not automatically transmit this locally stored information to Mintier.
3. Camera Access
QSenda may require access to the camera on a supported device in order to scan QR codes.
Camera images are processed locally for QR-code detection and decoding. QSenda does not send or store camera images used for QR scanning on Mintier's servers.
4. Google Analytics
The QSenda website may use Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, to understand website usage and improve the Service.
Google Analytics may collect information including:
- website visits and session information;
- browser and device information;
- approximate geographic information;
- pages viewed and usage information; and
- identifiers generated by Google Analytics.
Google Analytics may use first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id> to distinguish users and sessions.
This information is processed through Google's systems. Mintier does not intentionally send names, email addresses, transferred filenames, transferred file contents, or other directly identifying information to Google Analytics.
Google's applicable privacy policies and terms govern Google's processing of Google Analytics data.
5. Cookies and Browser Storage
The QSenda website may use cookies for Google Analytics.
Browsers may also store WASM files, JavaScript, images, CSS and other static website resources in browser caches or similar local storage as part of normal browser operation.
Such cached resources are stored on the user's device for loading and performance purposes. They are not used by Mintier to collect files transferred through QSenda. Users can control or delete cookies and cached data through their browser settings.
6. Advertising
The Service may display advertising in the future.
If advertising is introduced, Mintier or third-party advertising providers may use cookies, device information, advertising identifiers, IP addresses, approximate location information, usage information and other technical information for purposes such as delivering advertisements, measuring impressions, preventing abuse and measuring advertising performance.
Where an advertising provider processes personal information or related information, that processing will also be subject to the provider's applicable privacy policy and terms.
Mintier will not provide the contents of files transferred through QSenda, transfer data contained in QR codes, camera images, or transferred files stored locally on a device to advertising providers for advertising purposes.
If Mintier introduces a third-party advertising service, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate to identify the service used and describe the relevant handling of information.
7. Technical Server Information
Web servers or hosting providers used for the QSenda website may automatically generate technical access logs for operation, troubleshooting, prevention of unauthorized access and security.
These logs may include information such as IP address, access time, browser information and requested resources. Mintier does not use these logs to inspect the contents of files transferred through QSenda or to create user profiles.
8. Purposes of Use
- provide and maintain the Service;
- understand website usage and improve the Service;
- investigate errors, failures and security issues;
- prevent misuse; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
9. Disclosure and Third-Party Providers
Mintier does not disclose personal information to third parties without the individual's consent except where permitted or required by applicable law.
When Google Analytics or another analytics service is used, information required for analytics may be transmitted to the relevant service provider.
If a third-party advertising service is introduced in the future, technical information required for advertising delivery, measurement or abuse prevention may be transmitted to the advertising provider.
Mintier does not provide the contents of files transferred through QSenda or camera images to third parties for analytics or advertising purposes.
10. External Services
The Service may contain links to external websites, applications or services. Information handled by those external services is subject to the privacy policies of their respective providers.
11. Security
Mintier takes reasonable measures to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or other misuse of information under its control. However, no internet service, device, browser or technical environment can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. Children
The Service is not designed for the purpose of intentionally collecting personal information from children. Where required, minors should use the Service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
13. Changes to This Policy
Mintier may modify this Privacy Policy in response to changes in law, the Service or technologies used by the Service. Material changes may be announced through the QSenda website or another appropriate method.

15. Language
This Privacy Policy is provided in Japanese and English. If there is any inconsistency, discrepancy or conflict between the Japanese and English versions, the Japanese version shall prevail.
